"...The farther you roll, the faster they spin / they drive you away and bring you home again / I swear sometimes it feels that life’s just a set of wheels,” Moakler sings in the chorus.

Prepare to feel all the feels and make a call home when you watch Steve Moakler’s new video for “Wheels.” Putting a ‘spin’ on how life just ‘rolls’ by, the Pennsylvania native sings a song of reflection and to appreciate the moments we have while we have them.

“But they don’t slow down, the speed picks up / you start wishing you were young as soon as you grow up / and the farther you roll, the faster they spin / they drive you away and bring you home again / I swear sometimes it feels that life’s just a set of wheels,” he sings in the chorus.

“We can tell the entire story of life and growing up using the images of wheels,” Moakler told Sounds Like Nashville of the song he co-wrote with Gordie Sampson and Caitlyn Smith. “Obviously, everyone can relate to that. We were all instantly onboard and it just lit a spark that started a fire, and it came together pretty quickly. We had the title ‘Wheels’ that we were so intrigued by, and then it opened that whole narrative for us.”

The clip was filmed a few miles from Music Row in East Nashville, at an auto repair shop Moakler passes while on his way home.

“Wheels” is his latest single to hit Siriux XM’s The Highway. Moakler will continue singing the song as he cruises down the rpad as the headliner for the inaugural Highway Finds Tour, which kicked off just last week.
