Worlds collide in the name of unity and love on “This Is Our Country,” as Tanya Tucker and trans-icon RuPaul team up for a delightfully quirky empowerment anthem.

Featuring a hip-hop beat and lyrics about a world that is big enough for all voices, the country hit maker and famous drag-queen-turned Emmy-winning media mogul break new ground.

Written by RuPaul, Leland, Freddy Scott and Tom Campbell, the track stems from a mutual admiration between the two stars. Tucker has appeared on some of RuPaul’s shows in the past, including as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race S2. She was also featured on the grand finale of All Stars 6 last week, where “This Is Our Country” first premiered, helping spread a message of diversity.

Tucker’s gravelly-sweet vocal combines with RuPaul’s inspirational tone on the song, as the pair sing of overcoming overcoming all obstacles in their path — including prejudice.

“This is our country, ay, ay, ay / When queen is a queen she don’t need no cowboy / This our country, oh-oh oh / Honey I can be queen or I can be cowboy,” goes the chorus.

Tanya Tucker posted about the new track on Instagram writing that “Love is the answer, love always wins!”

“I had so much fun recording this with Ru and so excited to join forces celebrating love, self-empowerment and unity.” she shared.
