Maddie & Tae’s Taylor Dye certainly won’t ‘die from a broken heart’ after her longtime boyfriend Josh Kerr popped the question. The couple shared their exciting news early Tuesday morning (9/3).
“Can’t wait to love you forever Joshua Peter Kerr ❤️ WE’RE ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!” wrote the bride to be with a series of photos showcasing her surprise engagement.
Added Kerr, “Bought the house. got the ring. asked her dad. got the girl. 💍💍 forever started Sept 2nd. I love you @taylordye.”
The two have been active pillars in others lives and social feeds, as the couple have frequently shared the latest in their relationship with fans. Both are singer/songwriters, with Dye currently on tour with Carrie Underwood and Kerr recently releasing his debut single, “Still Our Town,” to fans.
The news comes just months ahead of Dye’s bandmate Maddie Marlow’s nuptials. Marlow is expected to tie the knot in November of this year.
No word yet on when Dye and Kerr will say “I do.”
