Country music trio Temecula Road is back with brand new single “Fades,” their first release in over a year.

The Buena Visa Records group comprises of sister Emma and Maddie Salute, 20 and 18 respectively, and longtime friend Dawson Anderson, 19. Earlier last month, they officially moved to Nashville from their hometown of Temecula, California, clocking in over two thousand miles for thirty hours.

The breakup uptempo laments the pains of an individual trying to forget a past love and the lingering heartache, often comparing the moving on to how everything is supposed to “fade away.”

“Cause everything fades like the paint on this ’68 pickup I picked you up in / It just don’t have the same shine that it used to / If it’s a matter of waiting I’ll be patient and pray it dulls like the edge of a blade / If everything eventually fades / Then why not you / Then why not you” they sing.

Co-written by Anderson, Kevin Bard and Mike Daly, this song was part of the trio’s performance at the Radio Disney Country stage on June 6 during CMA Music Festival in Nashville. While there, they also connected with fans and signed autographs at several booths in Fan Fair X.
