Rising country singer Tenille Townes has released a new song, “Jersey On The Wall.” The poignant and emotional track has been lauded by many since its appearance on Townes’ Living Room Worktapes acoustic EP last year.

“Jersey On The Wall” is a song off Townes’ forthcoming full-length debut album, which was produced by Jay Joyce. Previously released album tracks include “White Horse,” “I Kept The Roses” and lead single “Somebody’s Daughter,” which was the most recent iHeartCountry’s “On The Verge” pick.

Townes recently participated in Cracker Barrel’s Five Decades, One Voice campaign—a project created to highlight the importance of women in country music by celebrating legendary female artists and those following in their footsteps. For the project, Townes was personally selected by Brandi Carlile to collaborate on new versions of two songs—Townes’ “Somebody’s Daughter ” and Carlile’s “Fulton County Jane Doe.”

Additionally, the Columbia Nashville/Sony Music Nashville singer-songwriter will perform at the upcoming 2019 ACM Honors ceremony, which recognizes the special honorees and off-camera category winners from the 54th annual ACM Awards. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 21, at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.

Townes is currently on the road with Dierks Bentley on his Burning Man Tour, and will join Miranda Lambert on her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour this fall. Select dates with Maren Morris in November are also on the horizon. For complete tour schedule and tickets, click here.
