Their band might be named The Cadillac Three, but this country trio hits the road with a sweet new BMW for their “Get After It” video. … And this ain’t the BMW you’re picturing.

Helping BMW Motorrad unveil a pair of brand-new motorcycles, the band grabs a fist full of country-rock throttle, and introduces the BMW R 18 B and R 18 Transcontinental.

“Get After It” is an apt title for the powerful new track. Mixing howling vocals with a scuzzed-out grunge-roots sound, it’s all pounding drums and distorted pedal steel, with high energy lyrics flying by at 100 miles-per-hour. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a beast of a new motorcycle, and likewise, its video takes the term “garage band” to a new level. Mixing performance shots of The Cadillac Three in a shop with open-road footage of the new bikes, it’s all meant to give American fans a first glimpse of BMW’s new touring models, and the band says they are all in.

“One of the most exciting things about this partnership is being able to combine awesome music and motorcycles,” says pedal steel player and avid rider Kelby Ray. “It was a truly special experience to be the first person in the USA to ride these new bikes for the first time.”

Those new bikes are the BMW R 18 B and R 18 Transcontinental — the latest in BMW’s long history of bike building. While BMW is better known in the U.S. for adventure and sport bikes, these new fully-loaded cruiser models capture the essence of the American highway — and each feature speakers built by rock legends Marshall Amplification.

“We’ve had a great relationship with Marshall Amplifiers for a long time and when we found out they’d recommended us to BMW to help launch their new motorcycle with a music video for ‘Get After It,’ it felt like a big ole hell yes for us,” says drummer Neil Mason.

Singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston adds, “this was such an awesome experience! While recording the track we tried to incorporate the feeling of getting on that BMW Motorrad bike for the first time while playing a really loud guitar through huge Marshall stacks like we do out on the road. I think we nailed it!”

According to a press announcement, the two new members of the R 18 family will be presented on August 6 in Sturgis, South Dakota, for the first time to the public. They will go on sale worldwide in September 2021. Visit bmwgroup.com for additional updates. The Cadiallac Three are currently on tour, and will take their global 10th Anniversary Tour across the US, UK and Ireland this December.
