Rising sibling trio The Cains have released the music video for their single, “Knock Knock.”

The song is from the group’s self-titled EP and was written by Jaida Dreyer, Stephony Smith and Dave Thompson.

“At first listen, ‘Knock Knock’ seems to be written from the perspective of someone who is being shut out emotionally,” Madison Cain said of the clip directed by Justin Clough. “So we sat down together and began thinking, ‘What if the song had another meaning? Something a little below the surface?’”

“The video tells a story of being completely locked in your own mind,” she added. “We perform alone in a white room wearing clothes that are dark and surreal. In some scenes, we are frozen and can’t break out. ‘Lights are on, but nobody’s home’ is what we tried to portray.”

The Cains’ “Knock Knock” was also featured on Sounds Like Nashville’s February installment of 10 Songs You Should Be Listening To Right Now. Check out the full list HERE and sure to watch the music video below!
