It’s the night that fans have been waiting for, but also dreading because it means that season 16 of NBC’s The Voice has come to an end.

The final four contestants—one from Team John Legend and three from Team Blake Shelton—competed for the final time during the May 20 show and with the fans voting throughout the live show and after, all that was left was to announce the winner, and to enjoy some great music.

Yes, in addition to the inevitable eliminations, there was a mini music festival taking place on the stage that included some of the biggest and best entertainers in the music industry from various genres.

Performances  for the evening included:

  • Andrew Sevener and Travis Tritt with “T-R-O-U-B-L-E.”
  • The Jonas Brothers with “Cool”
  • Khalid with “Talk”
  • Mari and Kim Cherry with “Good As Hell” by Lizzo
  • LB Crew, Domenic Haynes, Kalvin Jarvis, Shawn Sounds, and Jej Vinson – “My Prerogative” by Bobby Brown
  • OneRepublic with “Rescue Me”
  • Hootie and the Blowfish with “Let Her Cry”
  • Maelyn Jarmon and Sara McLachlan with “Angel”
  • BTS with “Boy with Luv”
  • Dexter Roberts and Toby Keith with “That’s Country Bro”
  • Halsey with “Nightmare”
  • Betsy Ade, Celia Babini, Lisa Ramey, and Presley Tennant with “Edge of Seventeen” by Stevie Nicks
  • Gyth Rigdon and Hootie & the Blowfish with “Hold My Hand”
  • Taylor Swift and Brandon Urie with “Me!”

Viewers also got a chance to go behind the scenes with contestants Maelyn Jarmon, Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts, and Andrew Sevener. And in a surprise twist, each of the singers was awarded their own Toyota Rav4.

Some of the coaches had a little fun on the show, as well. For Blake, that meant a satirical commercial spot promoting his faux cologne, Manuré, while Coach Kelly Clarkson lamented being the only girl on the show. After being rejected by the boys club, she built her own clubhouse, but with no other females on the show, who would she share her space with? Carson, of course.

Coach John showed off his epic musical skills performing an ode to the numerous times he was blocked on the show called “Block Around the Clock.”
