Grammy-nominated and Platinum-selling country star Thomas Rhett sets new records again with his newest album Center Point Road. Rhett’s fourth studio album made history with 33.59 million on-demand streams for its songs, attaining the biggest streaming debut week ever for a country album. The project also debuted at the No. 1 spot on Billboard 200 Albums Chart, giving Rhett his second consecutive top-spot debut on that chart.

“The reception for this new music has been mind-blowing from the start,” said the father of two. “In these last two years of life, a lot has happened that gave me a lot to write about. When I didn’t think I could get more personal, I did.” He also attributes the personal depth in the new record to the songwriters part of this project and the visionary producers who dreamed up what this Center Point Road could sound like.

“I just feel super honored and super blessed that we got to make this record with such an incredible team,” Rhett expressed in gratitude. “Huge shout out to the fans for listening to it and supporting every release along the way. It has been such a whirlwind, for the album to finally be out and to see this kind of response is just mind-blowing.”

In celebration of the new album’s release, the Valory Music Co. recording artist brought Center Point Road to Bridgestone Arena during CMA Fest (6/8) where more than 7,000 fans got to witness an up-close-and-personal set in the round from the singer/songwriter. Rhett revealed the stories behind new songs, while also performing both fan-favorites and career hits that have all led him to his A-list status today. The sold-out special event, which included surprise guests Jon Pardi and Rhett’s father Rhett Akins, concluded with a $100,000 donation to CMA Foundation’s music education program.

Center Point Road’s lead single “Look What God Gave Her” is currently climbing up to the top of the country radio charts. Rhett is set to co-host and perform on ABC’s CMA Fest, airing on Sunday, August 4.
