Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi Find a Ice Cold Solution in ‘Beer Can’t Fix’
This feel-good clip's timing couldn't be better.
Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi team up for some much needed mood-brightening in a newly-released video, hitting the water for “Beer Can’t Fix.”
Shot in Key West, Florida, the beachy clip is all palm trees, fishing boats and scooters as the stars seek out a little tropical therapy. After Rhett kicks the song off with laid-back lines about longnecks and helping the timid work up their courage, Pardi takes the sudsy second verse, drawling about bad days of fishing and lost championship games. But no matter what kind of obstacles they find, there’s a simple solution.
“Ain’t nothing that a beer can’t fix / Ain’t no pain it can’t wash away / From the moment that it hits your lips / Makes those clouds look a little less gray / Oh, you could be lonely, or heartbroken / Or hungover from the night before / Turn that frown into a smile real quick / There ain’t nothing that a beer can’t fix,” goes the chorus.
“We wrote this song to be fun and uplifting and wanted to take that same energy into the video,” Rhett shared in a press release. “Jon and I had a blast filming this a few weeks ago in Key West, and I hope it brings a smile to people’s faces.”
“Beer Can’t Fix” is part of Rhett’s 2019 album Center Point Road. It follows his tender previous single, “Remember You Young” — his seventh straight Number One on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
