Some of country’s biggest names are helping St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital make the most of a summer on pause, leading the all-star lineup of a virtual music festival.

Called Music Gives: Together #forStJude, the multi-genre music and food festival will feature six “stages” and artists from across the musical spectrum, plus a handful of all-star chefs helping viewers cook up their favorite festival snacks. The event takes place on August 13 and is all aimed at supporting an important cause — ensuring St. Jude families never pay for their child’s battle against cancer.

Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker and more country stars will join pop, R&B and gospel luminaries like Cece Winans, Jason Mraz, Luis Fonsi and Anthony Brown. Meanwhile, Chef Seamus Mullen, Chef Lorena Garcia, Chef Yisus and Allrecipes’ Chef John Mitzewich (as well as St. Jude patient, Carly), will lead cooking demonstrations in between performances.

“Summertime often brings people together for a favorite pastime: music festivals. During this time of social distancing, the incredible ambassadors and celebrity friends of St. Jude are ensuring that our summer does not go by without one, and leveraging their talent to make a huge difference for the children of the world,” said Richard C. Shadyac, Jr., President and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “At St. Jude, we are reminded that when we all come together to give for those who need it most, we can make a significant difference, which is why I hope you’ll join us for Music Gives: Together #forStJude on August 13 – six hours total of incredible content and artists. Most importantly, giving through events like this when the world is so disrupted enables us to continue to ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.”

The fun kicks off August 13 at 5 p.m. CT on FacebookYouTubeInstagram and TikTok — with additional announcements on Twitter — and you can find more info on performers at https://www.stjude.org/musictogether.
