Newcomer Trea Landon is stealing hearts with his debut single, “Loved By a Country Boy,” arriving as the most-added new artist at country radio last week.

That breakout news comes on the strength of Landon’s temptation-filled track, co-written by the young Georgia native with Kyle Fishman, Dallas Davidson and Justin Wilson. Its smooth-as-glass sound is filled with dirt-road romance and sunset vibes, as the 25-year-old artist tries to convince a beautiful girl his down-to-Earth ways are worth checking out.

“Girl you ain’t been loved / ‘Til you’ve been loved by a country boy / Bet you never felt nothin’ like that, naw / Girl you ain’t been loved / ‘Til you’ve been loved by a country boy / Steal your heart, won’t give it back / But don’t you want that love, well come and get this love, baby / Girl you ain’t been loved / ‘Til you’ve been loved by a country boy,” goes the flirty chorus.

“Loved By a Country Boy” was produced by Scott Hendricks (Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay), and its summer-lovin’ video was filmed on the sleepy banks of Middle Tennessee’s Harpeth River, full of fishing and falling head over heals. Landon will bring his heart-forward single onstage this weekend, opening for Jon Langston at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works August 30, and he’ll also be featured on Brantley Gilbert’s Kick It In the Ship cruise November 4 – 8, among other tour dates.
