Trisha Yearwood brings fans into her family circle with the video for “I’ll Carry You Home,” pairing real home videos with a stunning emotional ballad.

Featuring clips of the Georgia-born vocal diva growing up with her parents, sister and extended family — even one from the day she arrived home from the hospital — the video is meant to highlight those close knit communities we all depend on … and the big-picture ones, too. It takes a village to raise a child, the saying goes, and Yearwood couldn’t agree more.

“‘I’ll Carry You Home’ is almost like a prayer,” she says of the striking ballad. “For me, it’s very much about the people in my life that have my back, and also my strong spiritual belief that God’s got me, no matter what. I believe that. It’s really like a prayer. It’s just one of the most beautiful songs that I’ve heard.”

Written by Caitlyn Smith, Gordie Sampson and Troy Verges, “I’ll Carry You Home” is included on Yearwood’s latest album, Every Girl, and she performed the heartwarming track on the 55th ACM Awards to honor those country music lost in 2020. Lately, Trisha Yearwood and her husband Garth Brooks appeared on PeopleTV to preview their new cover of the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper duet, “Shallow.”
