Rising country singer-songwriter Tyler Booth is ringing in 2021 with two brand new songs: “Palomino Princess” and “Already Got One.” “Palomino Princess” is the standout of the two and quickly garnered mass attention from fans. Booth posted a clip of him singing part the song to his TikTok, which later amassed over a whopping 350k views in less than 24 hours.

The traditional-leaning country ballad spotlights Booth’s signature baritone, and perfectly encapsulates what could’ve been a western movie’s romantic scene in just over 3 minutes. “Saddle me up, I won’t buck on you, baby / And let’s take a chance and we can ride the night away / A palomino princess is all a cowboy needs to face a long hard day / So won’t you climb on up and grab the reins,” the Kentucky native croons tenderly on the chorus.

“‘Palomino Princess’ is very personal to me because it’s my first solo write that has been released by Sony Nashville,” the Sony Music Nashville/Villa 40 artist says in a press release. “Writing that song got my foot in the door as a Nashville songwriter. People have been asking for it for a couple years and I hope they fall in love with the studio version as much as I have.”

“Already Got One,” on the other hand, is an up-tempo jam that celebrates one’s contentment with already having the perfect “one.” The track was co-written by Booth with Phil O’Donnell, Justin Wilson and Shane Minor.

“[‘Already Got One’] is a song that just about anyone could relate to,” Booth shares. “It’s about letting that special ‘one’ in your life know that you’re thinking of them no matter where you are, who you’re around or what you’re doing.”

Prior to this, over the holidays last year, Booth released his cover of “Holly Jolly Christmas” as well as a stellar heart-rending original, “Mary’s Arms.” In 2019, the country newcomer was also enlisted by Brooks & Dunn for a remake of “Lost and Found” from their Reboot album.

Most recently, Booth was named as one of our 2021 Artists To Watch, alongside newcomers Priscilla Block, Andrew Jannakos, Brittney Spencer, Restless Road and more.
