Country newcomer Tyler Booth is celebrating the holidays this year with his first ever Christmas release. The double track roll-out features Booth’s rollicking cover of “Holly Jolly Christmas” and a brand-new original tune called “Mary’s Arm,” which he penned Jim Beavers and Phil O’Donnell.

The latter track narrates the emotional story of a baby Jesus’ first entrance into the world in his mother Mary’s arms. Prior to its release, Booth previewed the song in a touching post on TikTok, which amassed a whopping 200k view in just 48 hours.

“We sat down to write a song a month or so ago. It was like God ended up writing it for us,” Booth says of “Mary’s Arms.” “I’m blessed to be the messenger and sing this song celebrating the birth of Christ. It’s a special song.”

Of “Holly Jolly Christmas,” Booth shares that the festive tune has always been one of his favorites, adding that it was “so cool to put [his own] own twist on it.”

Outside of his new holiday releases, the Campton, Kentucky native has spent the large majority of 2020 growing his already-substantial fan base through social media and his acoustic live “Open Bar Acoustic Series” on YouTube.
