Walker Hayes got real “Fancy Like” with his performance at the 2022 ACM Awards on Monday (March 7).

The hit singer turned all of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas into his stage, making his way throughout the venue in one take as he delivered “AA” and “Fancy Like.”

The performance began with Hayes entertaining patrons in the upstairs lounge before taking it into the crowd, serenading fans with “AA” as he walked through the stadium aisles, high-fiving them along the way. This lead into the high-energy “Fancy Like,” the camera following Hayes throughout the arena as fans sang and danced along to the ear worm track, capturing the moment on their phones as Hayes walked past.

Among Hayes’ famous friends who could be seen bopping to the track where Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett and Kane Brown, Hayes offering a fist bump to Jordan Davis as he walked past while Underwood could be seen dancing at her seat. Meanwhile, Hayes slapped Kelsea Ballerini’s hand as he made his way to the stage for the finale, the Alabama native ending his set by venturing back to the crowd where he wrapped his wife Lainey in a celebratory hug.

Marking the first time a major country awards show aired exclusively as a live stream, the 57th annual ACM Awards took place on Monday (March 7) at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. The show featured more than 20 performances and was co-hosted by Dolly Parton with Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett, airing only on Amazon Prime Video.
