Country newcomers King Calaway hit the beach in the seaside singalong video for their debut single, “World for Two.” And with six members in the band, there’s plenty for potential fans to take in.

With richly-textured harmonies and the smooth sonic presence of a country boy band, “World For Two” is the group’s first single off their self-titled EP debut. It was released in January showing off their buttery vocal blend along with some real musical prowess, as each member is also a seasoned instrumentalist.

In the video, the band’s Jordan Harvey, Chad Michael Jervis, Simon Dumas, Chris Deaton, Caleb Miller and Austin Luther enjoy a dream-like beach performance. And it would have looked right at home on MTV’s TRL circa 2000. Standing just feet from the ocean with guitars in hand, they deliver a gentle mid-tempo about escaping the modern world in favor of something less complicated – and wishing they could build world for two.

King Calaway came together in 2018 with members hailing from the U.S., Scotland and Gibraltar. Each had a solo career with some early success before the band started. But now they’re hoping to join country’s new wave with the help of producers Ross Copperman (Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley) and Robert Deaton — plus a batch of slick Nashville pop.
