Willie Jones has released a brand-new uptempo break-up anthem, “Trainwreck.”

The upbeat song blends Jones’ undeniable country, pop, R&B and hip-hop influences to a musical concoction that guarantees a good time. “I’m just a trainwreck ever since you left / Girl, you were the best thing I’ve ever had / And now I’m jaded / Falling off the tracks ’cause I can’t get you back, yeah, yeah,” Jones sings in the chorus of the country-trap tune, over electric guitar riffs, synthetic beasts and subtle banjo pickin’.

“‘Trainwreck’ is my first heartbreak song that I’ve ever released, but damn it sure makes me feel good!” the Shreveport, Louisiana native told Sounds Like Nashville. The track was penned by Jones along with hit songwriters Mark Batson (Beyonce, Eminem) and Justin Ebach (Brett Young, Dustin Lynch), who earned his second SESAC Songwriter of the Year award in 2019.

Prior to this, Jones dropped the feel-good and breezy song “Back Porch” in April. To date, it has accumulated over 870,000 streams on Spotify alone.
