2019 was a year full of love!
Love was in the air for country music in 2019, as the year was filled with artists finding their partners for life. Whether through grand romantic gestures or by keeping things simple, these musicians put their love for their significant others on display in the form of sweet, special social media posts.

Rachel Reinert – Former Gloriana member Rachel Reinert found her life partner in longtime boyfriend Caleb Crosby when he got down on one knee to propose just three months after their four-year anniversary. To make it even more romantic, the couple announced the news and shared photos of the ring and beach proposal on Valentine’s Day.
Chuck Wicks – Country star Chuck Wicks was finally “Stealing Cinderella” when he asked Kasi Rosa Williams to be his bride in March. The proposal was perfect, with Wicks getting down on one knee in the quiet of the beautifully snowy woods near the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Canada.
Devin Dawson – Rising country star Devin Dawson got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Leah Sykes in March while on a trip to San Francisco, California, for their two-year anniversary. The singer popped the question on the rooftop of their hotel after showing Sykes all his favorite spots in the city.
Gabby Barrett & Cade Foehner – American Idol contestants Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner first met on the show’s first season on ABC, beginning a love story for the ages, and the couple went on to get engaged in late March. Foehner asked Barrett to be his bride while on a trip to Los Angeles, where they stayed in the same hotel where they first met on Idol. Could it get any more romantic?

Rachel Wammack – Back in April, rising star Rachel Wammack dropped her uplifting single, “Enough,” which was all about realizing what really matters in life. When discussing the song, Wammack subtly mentioned her recent engagement to her fiancé, Noah, who she named as one of those people who is important to her. How sweet!
Tara Thompson – Tara Thompson received a romantic proposal from her boyfriend during a visit to one of London, England’s famous landmarks, the London Eye. Despite thinking she’d never get married, “my stubborn ass said YES,” she wrote, dubbing her fiance as perfect.
Mark Wystrach – Midland’s Mark Wystrach popped the question to girlfriend Ty Haney while at her father’s farmhouse after being apart for almost a week. The proposal was unplanned, and Wystrach got down on one knee while the couple was on a walk with their puppies, which made the moment even more romantic.
Chris Lane – Country crooner Chris Lane found his “Take Back Home Girl” when he proposed to girlfriend Lauren Bushnell. He popped the question on June 16, Father’s Day, at Bushnell’s family cookout in Portland, Oregon. Knowing his girlfriend did not want any kind of overcomplicated proposal, Lane kept it simple by getting down on one keen in the middle of her backyard.
Jimmie Allen – It was a theme park proposal for Jimmie Allen when he asked his girlfriend, Alexis Gale, to marry him in July. Allen popped the question at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom just outside the iconic castle, which made for quite the magical moment.
Taylor Dye & Josh Kerr – Taylor Dye of Maddie & Tae lost any ability to “die from a broken heart” when longtime boyfriend Josh Kerr proposed to her in early September. The country couple shared took to Instagram to share the news, with Dye and Kerr writing sweet, loving messages to each other on the social media platform.
Jon Pardi – In no need of any “heartache medication,” Jon Pardi got engaged to longtime girlfriend Summerfawn Duncan in early October. He popped the question during his second of two shows at the Ryman Auditorium, which happened to be one of the couple’s first date spots.
Emily Ann Roberts – The Voice alum Emily Ann Roberts is ready to get hitched after Chris Sasser, her boyfriend of four years, got down on one knee and popped the question. The surprise proposal went down on Roberts’ 21st birthday while hiking in Asheville, North Carolina.
