2015 CMT Artists of the Year Revealed

The 2015 CMT Artists of the Year have officially been announced.

Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt will be the honorees at this year’s special. The list was revealed this morning on the TODAY Show with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. The dynamic duo made the announcement by sharing photos of the artists as babies (so cute, right?!).

The 90-minute special will pay tribute to the top country artists of 2015, live from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The five artists selected have collectively dominated the country radio charts and CMT platforms.

Bryan and FGL have both been recognized for the last three years, while Shelton, LBT, and Hunt are all first-time honorees.

Additional performers, presenters and special guests will be announced shortly.
