Chicago will embrace some Southern ways when various barbecue joints and country singers head up north for some good food and great music at the 2018 Windy City Smokeout. Marking the festival’s sixth consecutive year of bringing the best grub and tunes to the Midwestern city, the program even notched headlining performances from acts like Brett Eldredge, Brothers Osborne and Brett Young.

Barbecue pits from all across the country will showcase the different flavors that range from East Coast to West Coast and North to South. Restaurants will hail from Nashville, Tennessee, Atlanta, Georgia, St. Louis, Missouri, Brooklyn, New York, Louisville, Kentucky and Charleston, South Carolina just to name a few of the contenders.
Other delectable items that attendees can feast upon include Nashville hot chicken, sausages from Los Angeles, Tex-Mex specials and Sprinkles cupcakes.
The 2018 Windy City Smokeout will be held in Chicago from July 13-15. Tickets are currently on sale for the festival weekend, with prices starting at $40 for a one-day pass and ranging up from there. More information can be found on the Windy City Smokeout website.
