Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett are the top nominated artists for this year’s 2020 CMT Music Awards. The nominations were announced Wednesday (9/23).

Originally scheduled for June, the show will honor the best of the genre’s music videos. Other nominees include Blanco Brown, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion and The Chicks, who are nominated for the first time since 2007.

Additionally, this year’s nominations will highlight a new crop of talent as many of the nominees are first time recipients. Among those first-timers are Blanco Brown, Caylee Hammack, Gabby Barrett, Ingrid Andress, Riley Green, The Highwomen, Tanya Tucker and Travis Denning.

Fan voting for the 2020 CMT Music Awards begins today at vote.cmt.com and continues through Monday, October 12 at 12PM ET/11 AM CT. The top five Video of the Year finalists will be announced at that time.

The CMT Awards air live on Wednesday, October 21st at 8PM ET/7PM CT and will broadcast across CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network, Pop TV and TV Land.

Best video of the year; awarded to the artist (male, female, group/duo or collaboration) and the video director. Final nominees announced on 10/12, with final voting held until 10/16 on social media and announced in-show.
