Another round of superstar performers for the upcoming 55th annual CMA Awards has been revealed, as the November 10 country music extravaganza approaches.
Announcing the additional performers on Wednesday (October 27), the CMA also revealed some of the songs those stars will sing. Aldean and Underwood will team up for the first-ever TV performance of their hit collab, “If I Didn’t Love You.” Stapleton will deliver “Cold” from his album, Starting Over. Old Dominion will get the crowd riding a wave of feel-good energy on “I Was On a Boat That Day,” and elsewhere, Young and Brown will show off their Number One hit, “Famous Friends.”
That’s all on top of perviously announced performances from Jimmie Allen, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Mickey Guyton featuring Brittney Spencer and Madeline Edwards, Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde, and Blake Shelton, and there’s still more star appearances yet to be revealed.
Featuring Luke Bryan as a first-time host, the 55th annual CMA Awards will broadcast LIVE from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 10 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. In sharing that surprise news, the hit maker admitted he’s got a big job ahead of him, but says he it was an offer he couldn’t refuse.
“Being asked to host the CMA Awards was definitely something I put a lot of thought into before answering,” Bryan announced. “The pressure that comes along with that can be overwhelming, but knowing I get to help honor and celebrate so many of my friends, I knew it was something I couldn’t turn down.”
