2022 CMT Music Awards Add Jason Aldean, Bryan Adams and More

Another round of superstar performers has been revealed for the 2022 CMT Music Awards, which are now just a few days away.

Set to air on April 11 on CBS, the show has added four new performances — three of which are exciting collaborations, and two which feature cross-genre guest stars.

The new performers are:

There’s no official word on what the new performers will sing, but we do have some educated guesses. Aldean covers Adams’ classic-rock hit, “Heaven,” on his Macon, Georgia double album, and also performed it for an episode of CMT Crossroads back in 2014. Likewise TR and Green team up for the fun-loving “Half of Me” on TR’s just-released Where We Started album.

Meanwhile, a A-list lineup of presenters has also been revealed, including Jimmie Allen, Gabby Barrett, Rob Corddry, Jordan Davis, Billy F. Gibbons, Gayle King, Taylor Lautner, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Joel McHale, Kacey Musgraves, Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France and Antoni Porowski, LeAnn Rimes, Dylan Scott and Dennis Quaid.

Co-hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Avengers actor Anthony Mackie, previously announced performers include Ballerini, Kane Brown, Mickey Guyton + Black Pumas, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Maren Morris + Ryan Hurd, Old Dominion, Carly Pearce, Cole Swindell + Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, plus the first televised performance in over two decades from the legendary duo The Judds. Emerging artists Priscilla Block, BRELAND, Jessie James Decker, Parker McCollum, Elvie Shane and Caitlyn Smith will also perform from the Ram Trucks Side Stage.

As the only 100-precent fan voted awards show in country music, voting for the six Video of the Year finalists is still open at vote.cmt.com. The top three videos will be announced on Monday (April 11), with the winner revealed live in-show.
