After two years of cancellations, the Stagecoach Festival has plans to return – and with a stellar list of incredible country acts. Announced Monday, July 12, the festival will feature Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood and Luke Combs as headliners.

“I have been looking forward to this for so long! I dreamed about headlining Stagecoach ever since I first played there in 2014. I cannot wait to get back out in the desert in 2022 and play for those fans.,” said Rhett in a press release.

Added Underwood, “There’s nothing like a Stagecoach audience and I can’t wait to take that stage and be with the fans in the desert again.”

“Stagecoach, it’s a dream come true to headline the festival in 2022. It will be here before we know it, and I’m already looking forward to seeing y’all there,” Combs concluded.

Scheduled to take place April 29 – May 1, 2022 in Indio, California, the lineup will also include Maren Morris, Midland, Brothers Osborne, Lee Brice, Tanya Tucker, Cody Johnson, Brandi Carlile, Amythyst Kiah, Shenandoah, Orville Peck, Hailey Whitters and Waylon Payne, among others.

The lineup reveal came just days after the festival teased that big news for 2022 was coming.

“Who needs an advance sale when you could just drop the lineup? How about next week,” the festival posted.

In June, festival organizers decided to postpone the festival for another year, along with its sister fest Coachella. The decision was made due to COVID-19 restrictions and in the safety of the fans, artists and their teams. The Country of Riverside issued a health ordinance which caused organizers to reschedule the event.

“This Order is issued based on concerns of a fall resurgence of COVID-19 both within the County of Riverside and worldwide, scientific evidence regarding the most effective approach to slow transmission of communicable diseases generally and COVID-19 specifically, and best practices as currently known and available to protect the public from the risk of spread or exposure to COVID-19,” the order stated.

Tickets for Stagecoach 2022 will go on sale on Friday (July 16) at 10AM PT. Fans can visit StagecoachFestival.com for more information.
