A Cappella Group Home Free Covers Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless The USA’

Ahead of this holiday weekend, a cappella group Home Free has released a stunning cover of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless America.”
The cover, dedicated to our nation’s veterans, highlights their trademark sound with only their voices.
“We feel very blessed to be able to make music for a living and we know it’s only because we live in a country made great by the sacrifices of others. This is our tribute to the brave men and women of the armed forces past and presently serving,” the group’s Tim Foust told Taste of Country.
The song’s accompanying video was filmed at sunset in front of Mount Rushmore. The moving clip ends with a quote written by Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War. “Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as best he can, the same cause.”
The group recently wrapped their Don’t It Feel Good Tour, but will continue to play dates throughout the fall. Fans should expect a new tour announcement soon.
