A New Entertainment Facility – Country Complex

Dothan, AL will soon be the home of Country Complex, “an unprecedented, master-planned resort and entertainment facility designed to become a mega tourist destination for the entire country.” Groundbreaking for the new facility took place last week and drew over 2,000 people including George Jones, Tracy Lawrence, John Anderson, and Lorrie Morgan. Darryl Worley is the first star that’s been announced who will endorse a venue/restaurant, with more artists expected to jump on board.

Country Crossing is expected to open in the fall of 2009 and in addition to the celebrity-themed venues and restaurants, it will feature a hotel, amphitheater, family entertainment center, RV Park, and festival grounds. Events at the new complex will include music festivals, bible crusades, monster truck competitions, and rodeos.
