ABC Orders Additional Episodes of Reba’s ‘Malibu Country’

Good news – ABC has ordered five additional episodes of Reba’s new sitcom, “Malibu Country.” That brings the total number of episodes to 18, which is just shy of a typical television season (22 episodes).

“Malibu Country” and it’s Friday night counterpart, “Last Man Standing,” starring Tim Allen, are giving the network the Friday night ratings boost it needs. Reba’s sitcom is improving ABC’s ratings in that time slot by 85 percent in Total Viewers and by 91 percent in Adults 18-49 from the same nights last year.

“Malibu Country” airs Fridays at 8:30/7:30 c on ABC.
