Thanksgiving gives us a day to stop and think about all that we have when we might not appreciate it on a day to day basis. For singer/songwriter Adam Sanders, putting down everything he loves into his song “Thankful For” was the perfect way to remind him of how lucky he is each and every day. The song came to him during a rough patch in life, and it’s become more meaningful to him over time.

“I was going through a breakup and things in my life were shifting,” he shared. “I didn’t realize how much I was going to need that song or how much it was really going to become ME until last year. I’m growing in my faith and a lot of things are really just taking shape in my life. Now when I sing it, I believe every word of it and it truly describes me.”

Sanders put the imagery of his lyrics into a new music video that follows him as he performs live for fans, while also enjoying his time off at home. From hunting to bonfires with beer, and even sneaking in a work out, Sanders has everything he needs.

“I got a little gas in the tank / I got a little cash in the bank / I got a little gravel drive / A little house on a fenced-in five / I got a little love from a girl / Who’s the center of the corner of my little world / I’ve got a little prayer I pray when I thank the Lord / ‘Cause man I got a lot to be thankful for,” Sanders sings in the song’s chorus.

The track is the first single from Sanders upcoming debut album, set for release next year. Fans may already be familiar with his songwriting as he’s penned hits for Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Tyler Farr, as well as No.1 singles “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” for Cole Swindell and “Hell of A Night” for Dustin Lynch.

“Thankful For” is available at all digital retailers.
