Though best known for her flawless voice and impeccable eyeliner, Adele is also the queen of cosplay. The British songstress has dressed up a time or two before, channeling some of music’s most prolific singers.
On Monday night, Jan. 14, Adele looked picture perfect as June Carter Cash. Providing no explanation for her costume, Adele simply captioned the photo with Carter Cash’s name and a heart. The “Someone Like You” singer went all out for her impersonation, donning a long brunette wig and a lacy lavender dress. She completed the look with an autoharp.

Adele’s love for country music’s most famous women runs deep as she’s previously channeled her inner Dolly Parton too.
“The effortless queen of song, Dolly Parton! We love you! We wish We could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! A hero of my life. I’ll always love you x,” she wrote with a photo of herself dressed in pink rhinestone suit and blonde wig.
The photo earned high praise from Parton herself, who responded with “And I will always love you!”
While Adele has shown love for the famous ladies of country, she’s also dressed up as several other icons of pop culture. For her 30th birthday, she dressed up as Rose from the movie Titanic for a themed birthday party. She also channeled the late George Michael circa his “Faith” era.
