Country icons Alabama will celebrate the perfect 2020 pass time in a new livestream concert — the legendary group’s only performance of the year.

Tomorrow (September 15) at 8 p.m. CT, Alabama will become the first featured performers of Camping World’s new weekly concert series, Taking the Highways Across America … and fans can tune in free of charge. Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook will take the stage live from Nashville for a set full of timeless country hits, and tribute the outdoor-lifestyle fun that many families have reconnected with as a year of social distancing continues.

“We are happy that we get to play our music live where you can watch for free in the safety of your home, camper or motorhome,” says Alabama frontman Randy Owen. “Thanks to our friends at Camping World for making this possible. We hope and pray that everyone is staying healthy and following the safety rules for the pandemic. The streaming of our live show allows us to come to you in a safe way to once again enjoy live music!”

“One thing Randy, Jeff and I have in common with Camping World is we have been on a camping trip for the last 50-plus years … in our camper buses visiting our fans in cities across North America,” adds bass player and vocalist Teddy Gentry. “We also live out in the country on top of a mountain and spend time in the woods and on the farm every day. We are thrilled to play this special concert for Camping World and our fans around the world.”

The show can be streamed at, and will also be broadcast on the company’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitter social media pages. Plus, there’s more to come after Alabama kicks the series off. Hosted by country radio personality Shawn Parr and running through November 24, more performers will be announced soon.
