Iconic country band Alabama have extended their 50th Anniversary Tour with nearly 30 additional arena and amphitheater dates, and a supporting cast of fellow legends.

Setting new tour stops from Maine to Wisconsin and their native Alabama – plus a pair of concerts in Ontario, Canada – the second leg of Alabama’s anniversary run will feature some truly big names. The Charlie Daniels Band, the Marshall Tucker Band, the Beach Boys, John Anderson, Restless Heart, Exile, John Michael Montgomery, Scotty McCreery and Canadian artist Charlie Major will all be on the bill for select dates, and tickets are on sale now.

“One of the most humbling things about this tour is that we are going all over North America playing some of our favorite arenas, cities and festivals with huge crowds showing up at our shows,” says bandleader Randy Owen.

“We are very fortunate to have made many friends over the last 50 years,” adds bass player Teddy Gentry. “On this tour, we decided to ask some of them to come along and play with us. We have the best of the best. It’s a lot of fun to hang out and watch our special guests every night.”

“Randy, Teddy and I have been overwhelmed by the support the fans have given us and especially me since my Parkinson’s diagnosis,” concludes lead guitarist Jeff Cook, who revealed his struggle with the disease in 2017. “The only reason for this is because we want our music to live on, and we love our fans. Thank you so much.”

The three cousins took the first steps of their career way back in 1969, and went on to become one of the best selling acts of the 1980s by fusing country and rock on hits like “Mountain Music,” “Dixieland Delight” and “Song of the South” — just a few of the more than 40 No.1 they released to country radio. The influential band stepped away from touring in 2004 and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2005. They resumed limited touring in 2013 and released the comeback album Southern Drawl in 2015.
