Alyssa Micaela Releases ‘Bud Light Baby,’ Announces Partnership with Bud Light
The song, which is all about the typical love-at-a-bar exit plan, inspired the partnership between Micaela and the beer company.
Teaming up with Bud Light, Country newcomer Alyssa Micaela released a new song called “Bud Light Baby” all about finding some fake love at the bar.
Inspired by the popular beer, Micaela sings about the woes of the wrong guy hitting on you and trying to find an exit plan in the pop-top of a cold one. Her hero in disguise comes to the rescue with a Bud Light in hand to give to his barstool lady and the night is saved with a little taproom rendezvous.
“There ain’t no harm / in being my beer prince charming / we’re just a cold one away / so hey, whatcha say,” she sings in the rockin’ cheeky number.
The partnership comes not only out of Micaela’s new tune about the beer, but also out of a new look for the crowd-favorite alcoholic drink.
“Earlier in 2016, we changed Bud Light’s look with new packaging,” said Colleen Kelly, Regional Marketing Director, Anheuser-Busch. “Now we are changing the way we engage with our consumers. Alyssa is a passionate young artist that writes and sings fun yet powerful songs that resonate with her fans and our consumers. Micaela, herself, is also excited about the development deal because of her presence in country music and her love for the product itself.
“I am so excited to partner with Bud Light! Their new branding and established presence in country music are such a great fit for me. Not to mention, it’s my favorite beer,” said Micaela.
