Is it getting hot in here? Oh no, that’s just Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner turning up the heat. The adorable couple comprised of American Idol finalists have been blending their incredible voices together for a cover series with their latest cover featuring Lady Antebellum’s 2009 smash, “Needs You Now.”

The two teased the clip several days before its release with a sweet photo posted to Instagram of them snuggling up to one another. Dating since their time on the show, it’s no surprise the couple decided to blend their musical talents to become one of music’s brightest new power couples. Though Foehner was the season’s rocker, he channeled his country roots for Barrett, who grew up idolizing one of Idol’s biggest successes, Carrie Underwood. Together, the two blended their voices perfectly for a brilliant remake of the GRAMMY-winning song.

Barrett and Foehner placed third and fifth on the ABC reboot of the hit show, respectively, and have spent the past few months together traveling the country. The two will remain tight-knit during their time on the road for the American Idol Live! Tour, which kicks off July 11 in Redding, CA.

While the two coupled up early on, they aren’t the only lovebirds to emerge from the latest season. Top two finalists Caleb Lee Hutchinson and Maddie Poppe revealed they were dating on the season finale of the show just before Poppe was crowned the winner.
