Singing hopefuls continue to work to make their dreams come true with the latest group appearing on the upcoming season of American Idol. Set to premiere on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14), the new season will help take an unknown talent to musical superstar in a matter of weeks.

Back on the show is Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie as judges, each working to guide and teach the batch of competitors as they work to become the new Idol champion. A trailer for the new season debuted on New Year’s Eve and highlighted some of the amazing talent hoping to make waves. In a special audition, Bryan and his fellow judges were brought to tears simply from the sound of someone’s vocals.

While fans can anticipate a new season of the hit show, producers are keeping to strict social distancing guidelines for the show’s filming.

“At times like these, it is more important than ever to give families wholesome entertainment, packed full of hope, talent and inspiration – where dreams come true. And that is what ‘American Idol’ is all about,” shared executive producer Eli Holzman, CEO of 19 Entertainment’s parent company Industrial Media, previously.

In addition to Bryan, Perry and Richie helping to cultivate new talent, Ryan Seacrest and Bobby Bones will be returning for the fourth season of American Idol. Tune in to ABC on February 14 at 8/7c.
