Fans at the 2011 CMA Music Festival were treated to two great surprises Saturday night at LP Field.
American Idol winner Scotty McCreery took the stage during Josh Turner’s set to join him in singing “Your Man.” Fans exploded with excitement when McCreery appeared on stage. A little while later, Martina McBride brought out Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina. McBride and Alaina sang “Anyway” to a huge ovation!
It’s been a very busy week for these two American Idol alumni. In addition to their performances at LP Field, both McCreery and Alaina appeared at the 2011 CMT Music Awards, made their Grand Ole Opry debuts, and participated in the 21st Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge. While in Nashville this week, Scotty and Lauren are both beginning work on their debut albums.
