Newcomer April Kry has been ever-so-kind to star in CountryMusicIsLove’s recent makeup tutorial videos, so we sat down with the songstress to get to know her a little more.

In the video below, April recalls what got her into makeup and how she secured a sponsorship from MAC Cosmetics. She also chats about what drew her to record her debut single “Fireflies” and what it was like to sing “Broken Wing” for the tune’s original singer, Martina McBride.
