After nine years together, Ashley Gearing has parted ways with her record label, Curb Records.

“I am grateful to have worked with the Curb organization for the past nine years but have decided to explore new opportunities that will enhance my musical journey at this time,” said the singer. “I would like to thank all of the people who I have worked with at Curb for their love, commitment and all they have done to assist me during my time there. Each of them has a very special place in my heart.”

Gearing signed her first record deal when she was just 12 years old. She first made her way onto the Billboard country charts in 2003 when she released her song “Can You Hear Me When I Talk To You?” The occasion made her the youngest solo artist to enter the Country charts, breaking Brenda Lee’s long-standing record.

The Massachusetts native later signed her deal with Curb Records in 2007 and released numerous singles, including her song “Train Tracks,” written by Jimmy Robbins, Jon Nite & Maren Morris.
