Ashley Monroe Welcomes Baby Boy, Dalton William Danks
He's here! Ashley Monroe and her husband have welcomed their baby boy!
Ashley Monroe is ‘on to something good’ as she’s embarked on the journey of parenthood after she and her husband, former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Danks, welcomed a baby boy into the world.
The singer shared the news with the world with a series of photos posted to Instagram. “Welcome to the world, love of my life. Dalton William Danks,” she wrote with a heart emoji.
Included in the three pictures is a black & white snap of the proud parents posing while their alert little boy looks around the room. Monroe also shared a photo of her husband still dressed in his hospital gown holding Dalton.
Monroe revealed on Christmas that she and her husband were expecting their first child together. Dubbing the baby as the “best present ever,” the singer shared the news with a photo of her sonogram. In March, Monroe revealed that they’d be welcoming a baby boy when she posted photos in a bikini to showcase her growing bump. “It’s a BABY BOY!! A big one I have a feeling,” she captioned the photo as she posed in front of a baby boy banner.
The Tennessee native will likely enjoy some time off with her little one, but not too much as her longtime friend and collaborator Miranda Lambert teased that 2018 may mark the return of their group Pistol Annies in a recent intervew with Ty, Kelly and Chuck.
