So glad to see Dierks Bentley opening up with “Sideways!” He looked and sounded great (like always)! Dierks walked the red carpet and was SUPER nice to the fans. He took time to chat & take photos with them. He also brought his dog Jake along.
Bill Engvall is really funny! He’s doing a GREAT job hosting. I really hope they bring him back next year- he’s cracking me up!
Darius Rucker is just awesome! I am so happy to have him in the country music family! Great performance, great guy!
How about Lady Antebellum’s performance? They re-created the music video for their hit single “Lookin’ For A Good Time!”
Brad Paisley performed his multi-week No. 1 single, “Then.” What a GREAT song!
Toby Keith and T-Pain seemed to enjoy themselves on stage! They discussed rapper names. Toby wanted to be called “big dog daddy.”
Glad to see Kid Rock take home the award for Wide Open Country Video of the Year. Love his line “what’s more creative than a strip pole on a pontoon?” haha Great song! He deserved that one!
Taylor Swift just performed her latest single, “You Belong With Me.” She looked awesome! She did her signature on stage costume change & brought along her dancers.
Keith Urban was on fire! His performance of “Sweet Thing” was awesome. I absolutley love that he is NOT afraid to go out into the crowd! That was great!
Justin Moore was too cute down in the crowd playing Rock Band and singing along. Too cool!
The B52’s joined Sugarland on stage to sing “Love Shack.” It was a FUN surprise performance!
Again, we LOVE that Dierks brought his dog Jake! He’s even sitting there with him in the crowd!
Trace Adkins sang his hit, “You’re Gonna Miss This.” What an amazing song. So true! It has brought him so much success!
Brad Paisley & Keith Urban were too cute when they won the buckle for Collaborative Video of the Year. Loved their speech- they told the kids to get a real guitar because ‘rock band never got a guy a date!’
Rascal Flatts sure worked the stage singing their new single “Summer Nights.” That is the PERFECT summertime song!
Kellie Pickler sang “The Best Days Of Your Life.” She was looking hot! I wanna know one thing, how the heck does she move around in those heels?
The Male Video of the Year category was a tough one- so many GREAT choices! Congrats to Brad Paisley though! Oh, and we LOVE that he “tweeted” on stage! He’s the 3rd or 4th person to mention Twitter during the show.
“She’s Country” is such a great song! Happy to that Jason Aldean chose to sing this one at the awards AND even more happy to see him bring Keith Urban on stage to sing along! It’s one huge party in there!
Melissa Peterman is hilarious!!! I met her last night and she was just as nice in person as she is on tv. Her new show is gonna be fun! Oh and we love her karaoke skills! Too funny!
I’m so happy to see Toby Keith out there performing! “God Love Her” has become one of my favorite Toby Keith songs! He’s rockin’ it!
Joey & Rory just came backstage to hangout! Rory chatted with everyone in our LIVE CMIL chatroom! They were too sweet!
Taylor Swift won Video of the Year for “Love Story.” She seemed pretty excited to win that award again!
What a way to close the show! Taylor Swift & Def Leppard- “Pour Some Sugar On Me!” This is a classic song. Not too sure how I feel about Taylor singing this song though.
