Billy Currington Surprises Fans – Again!
Billy Currington seems to be making a habit of surprising fans by playing a local show after an opening act gig in the same city. A few weeks ago, Billy did this in Omaha, NE and he recently followed suit in Roanoke, VA. After his opening set for Sugarland on June 26 at the local Civic Center, Billy headed over to the Corned Beef & Co. club to play for a crowd that was lined up for blocks. Billy performed at the filled-to-capacity joint for over an hour.
He did it again! We just got an email from Sue, one of our readers, and she said that Billy showed up at Stir-Ups in Downtown Green Bay on Wednesday night after his show with Sugarland. She sent us the above photo and said that he played for about 2 hours…and that it was awesome!
Billy will continue to tour thoughout the summer and can also be seen this weekend on GAC’s Top 20 Countdown.
