Blake Shelton Among Country Artists Featured on ‘Footloose’ Soundtrack
The highly anticipated remake of the 1984 classic “Footloose,” starring Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald, hits theaters October 14. Today, Entertainment Weekly exclusively revealed new details on the film’s soundtrack. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it features quite a few country artists!
Blake Shelton will sing the title track, “Footloose,” originally recorded by Kenny Loggins. In addition, Zac Brown, Whitney Duncan, Big & Rich (featuring Gretchen Wilson) and newcomer Hunter Hayes will also be featured on the soundtrack. Plus, “One Tree Hill’s” Jana Kramer, who is currently working on her debut country album, contributes “Let’s Hear It For The Boy.”
