Blake Shelton is teaming up with his “The Voice” co-star, Cee Lo Green. An unlikely duo? Not to Blake.

“I think it would surprise you how good it would sound, me and Cee Lo together,” he says in a new promo for “The Voice.” “How cool would that be to sing with Cee Lo on a record? That would be awesome. I’m gonna do it.”

And not just him – his wife, singer Miranda Lambert, might get a visit from fellow judge Christina Aguilera. “The possibility of a collaboration is always in the works,” Aguilera reveals. “And Blake’s wife Miranda. We were talking about collaborating, as well.” The pop superstar confesses to being a little jealous of Blake and Cee Lo’s duet, as well as being a fan of Blake’s music. “Coming from the pop world, I don’t interact so much on a regular basis with country, and the one-of-a-kind Blake Shelton, but I’ve become kind of a fan.”

Adam Levine, another of “The Voice” coaches, grudgingly admits he likes the country singer’s work as well. “I sang that ‘Honey Bee’ all summer. It’s stuck in my head like a disease,” he complains jokingly. “Thanks a lot for that one, Blake. Son of a b—-.”

“Honey Bee” and “Forget You” are two completely different styles, but we’re excited to see what the collaboration sounds like!

Blake, whose father recently passed away, will be at the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards on February 12 to perform with Glen Campbell, who is receiving a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Blake himself is nominated for two GRAMMY awards for Best Country Solo Performance for “Honey Bee” and Best Country Album for Red River Blue.
