The best way to spread the Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, so power couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani joined together on Monday night (Dec. 4) to sing their holiday duet off her recent album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, on NBC’s The Voice.

The two sounded quite merry as they cheerfully exchanged lyrics back and forth on the Voice stage dressed in some festive attire, to say the least. Stefani sparkled in her holly-embroidered fit-and-flare frock while Shelton did his best to suit up in a winter wine-colored button-up complete with a formal vest as they smiled their way through the duet.

The two looked ever so in love as they couldn’t take their eyes off one another during the original carol. The toe-tapping tune even got a number of back-up dancers to swing around in their fluffy skirts to bring the yuletide spirit to life. Spreading joy to the holiday season, Stefani and Shelton even shared a sweet side embrace as they finished their performance for the evening.

Stefani easily convinced Shelton that he should appear on “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” and the country singer felt in the giving mood thanks to his girlfriend’s bright and starry excitement over the Christmas collaboration.

“She was so excited. I love seeing her that happy. She’s so happy when she’s writing and just hearing that in her voice and how into it she was, I just couldn’t stop thinking about [it] so I got my guitar out and thought, ‘I wonder if I could help her in some way,’” Shelton shared with People.

The couple will join forces once again on Stefani’s upcoming Christmas special, airing Tuesday, December 12 on NBC.
