Blake Shelton Proposes to Gwen Stefani: ‘Thanks for Saving My 2020′
Congratulations to the happy couple!
She said yes! It’s official – Blake Shelton is set to marry Gwen Stefani! In a post to Instagram Tuesday afternoon (10/27), Shelton announced that he and his longtime girlfriend and fellow The Voice coach would be tying the knot.
“Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES,” he wrote with a photo of the two kissing and Stefani holding up her new ring.

Stefani shared the same photo, writing the caption “yes please.”
The two first began dating several years ago after bonding over their recent divorces on the set of the NBC hit show. Both had recently filed from their famous exes and found comfort in each other during difficult times.
Stefani thanked Shelton for his support when accepting the Glamour Woman of the Year Award in 2016. “To Blake Shelton for kissing me back to life, thank you so much,” Stefani said to the event crowd. “I am blown away, I’m blown away by this room of unbelievable courage. It’s unbelievable to be here tonight. I am really, really grateful.”
Since they were first linked, the two have not only fallen in love and formed a family together. They also have recorded several songs including the recent “Happy Anywhere” and “Nobody But You.”
No word yet on when the couple will tie the knot.
