Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani to Duet on 2016 Billboard Music Awards
The show will broadcast live on Sunday, May 22, 2016 LIVE on ABC.
Days after debuting their killer duet on NBC’s hit show The Voice earlier this week, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have scheduled another massive television performance of “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
The pair will sing the song they co-wrote on the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 22.
“It came from a time and place when Gwen and I were beginning our journey together and both experiencing a hard time letting our guards down with each other,” he said when the track was announced. “The song couldn’t possibly be more honest. I’m honored to have written and performed this song with the great Gwen Stefani. Respect.”
The song appears on Shelton’s upcoming album, If I’m Honest, due out May 20. Fans who pre-order If I’m Honest now will receive an instant download of “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards will be hosted by Ciara and Ludacris. The show will broadcast live on Sunday, May 22, 2016 LIVE on ABC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. See a full list of country nominees HERE.
