In an exciting announcement Wednesday afternoon (3/21), Blake Shelton, along with his partners at Ryman Hospitality, announced that his Ole Red lifestyle and entertainment brand will be heading to East Tennessee with a new restaurant in Gatlinburg.

Located just across the street from the future Margaritaville hotel, the venue will feature much of what makes the Nashville and Tishomingo, OK locations so special – live music and great food. Pointing to his hat that read Ole Red Gatlinburg, the “I Lived It” singer was pleased to inform fans watching the Facebook Live that his brand would soon be expanding.

“Gatlinburg is one of my all-time favorite places. This part of the country is full of people who love good food, great music, family and most importantly, a good time. That’s what Ole Red is all about, and I can’t wait to give my fans another place to have fun in Gatlinburg,” said Shelton in a press release.

Added Ryman Hospitality Properties Chairman and CEO, Colin Reed, “With 12 million annual visitors and a rich country music legacy, Gatlinburg is an ideal destination for the Ole Red brand. We know the Smoky Mountain region is tremendously popular with country lifestyle consumers, and we believe Ole Red offers a unique entertainment experience that will attract even more visitors to the area.”

Ole Red Gatlinburg will be a multi-level, 16,000-square-foot entertainment venue with a two story bar and restaurant, performance space, dance floor, retail area and outdoor terrace. The menu, inspired by Shelton, will feature Nashville classics, like hot chicken & waffles, barbecue and other Southern dishes.

The building marks the third Ole Red venue to be built, following the Tishomingo location in Shelton’s hometown, as well as the upcoming building on Lower Broadway in Nashville, TN, which is slated to open later this year.

Fans and tourists can expect the location to open at the start of 2019. Ole Red Gatlinburg will be located at 511 Parkway, the main drive into town from Pigeon Forge.
