Success of a great song can come at a price for an artist. While the artist loves the track upon release, having to sing it for years to come can become taxing. In particular, Blake Shelton’s 2009 “Hillbilly Bone,” featuring Trace Adkins, is a song the Oklahoma native wishes he could put on the back burner, more for its innuendo than anything.

“I’m gonna say ‘Hillbilly Bone’ because it’s uncomfortable sometimes with kids at the concert. You’re singing and you’re looking at a kid and you start talking about ‘Hillbilly Bone’ … it’s uncomfortable,” Shelton told PEOPLE recently.

Shelton’s fellow The Voice coaches also dished about the songs they’d like to retire. Levine would put “Love Somebody” to rest (“It’s so high. I need to take it down a half-step. It’s too high.”), while Hudson would stop performing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” (“If it didn’t pay my bills, I would say ‘And I Am Telling You’ ’cause if I sing that song one more time, oh my God.”). Miley Cyrus’ choice, however, may be a little more surprising.

“Lyrically, I’m less impressed with that song right now,” she explained to NME Magazine of her hit “Wrecking Ball.” “I feel like it doesn’t reflect who I am now, but that’s fine because it’s not supposed to.”

Shelton and Cyrus have plenty of other tunes they can use in their shows if they truly choose to put those songs away for good. Shelton will release a slew of new music when his album Texoma Shore debuts on Nov. 3. Cyrus recently released a reinvented sense of self with the project Younger Now.
