Blake Shelton Goes ‘Tiger King’ With ‘Tonight Show’ Haircut

Blake Shelton appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night (April 13), tuning in via video for an on-air haircut courtesy of girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
Saying he’d been at his home in Oklahoma with “a pile of Stefanis” since canceling his tour in March, Shelton admitted he and the crew had become “pretty self-sufficient.” They even had a schedule to keep that couldn’t be put off, Shelton explained, which prompted Stefani to step into frame with a set of clippers.”I told him I’d help work on his mullet,” she said with a smile.
As Stefani went to work, Fallon asked the fun-loving pair a few questions about music and The Voice (which Shelton says may move ahead to the live rounds via video conference) but the focus was clearly on Shelton’s evolving hair-do.
By the end he had some special initials carved into the side, and Fallon could only explain the look one way: “Dude, you are so Tiger King right now, you have no idea,” he joked. Check it out in the video player above.
