Blake Shelton to Host 2nd Annual NRA Country / ACM Celebrity Shoot

NRA Country and the Academy of Country Music announced yesterday that the Second Annual NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot, hosted by ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee Blake Shelton, will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2012 as part of The Week Vegas Goes Country® – the week leading up to the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, a star-studded event produced for television by dick clark productions that will be broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network. Shelton will also co-host the Awards alongside Reba for the second consecutive year.

The NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot, presented by SoundGear by LaPierre, is a two course, 10 station, 40 target sporting clays competition for 20 teams of five shooters – including a celebrity captain – with prizes going to the top team and top celebrity shooter. The event, emceed by Storme Warren, host of GAC’s Headline Country, will take place at the Desert Hills Shooting Club and will include celebrity participants including Lee Brice, Craig Campbell, Cowboy Troy, Ira Dean, Edens Edge, Craig Morgan, Jake Owen, Thomas Rhett, Outdoor Channel’s Lee& Tiffany Lakosky andNick Mundt, TNA Impact Wrestling stars Jeff Hardy and James Storm, and more. The Second Annual NRA Country/ACM Celebrity Shoot will support Wounded Warrior Project, The Folds of Honor Foundation and the Nellis Air Force Base Youth Programs.
